Memories Drift In And Out Of My Mind~

And the little people get left behind~
So whateverrrrrrr~

That may or may not be one of my favourite Adventure Time quotes ever. I have my reasons ok. Anyway it's only marginally relevant to this post, in the way of I have forgotten pretty much everything that I have done between now and my last post. Which, was over a month ago huhuhu forever a useless blogger. That being said, I probably haven't even done that much, so I guess it's no huge loss. I feel like my posts are just getting really repetitive. Me not remembering if I did anything of interest, and just rambling about music things or anime things, because that's pretty much all my life consists of.

Other than going to work on Sundays and Mondays, I don't really get out that much. If I do go out it's usually just to go to the supermarket or the library or something. I don't mind it. I prefer staying home. This past month I only really made an effort and got dressed up to go out once. It was nice, I do like making an effort. I just don't see the point in going to all the trouble if I know I'm only going to be out for like, an hour. And I'm actually really lazy and it takes me ages to get ready and sometimes you know, it's just not worth it. This one time I was actually out for the whole day though, so I tried.

Yes hello this is my face and I actually kind of liked how it looked that day ok.

Top notch editing I know try to not be too overwhelmed. (She was pulling a huge derp face and would probably de-friend me if I posted the normal picture).
I didn't get a chance to take a full outfit picture this day, so this will have to do. I was wearing tattoo tights with scissors on them with thigh-high ripped socks over top, and my white Doc Martins. The shirt is Super Lovers and the cardigan is Listen Flavor.

Other than that, and working, I didn't go out much. Just stayed home watching anime. No regrets.

I received my copy of GOTCHAROCKA's Crisis~ No Toya card again this time, but I was pretty happy to receive the card with all of them! I would like to review the album, but I feel I've left it too late, and honestly I think I need to listen through it a few more times before I'd be able to review it properly. By properly, I mean more than just mindless fangirling about how fucking fantastic it is because it is fUCKING FANTASTIC OMFG.

Actually, something that you may have noticed that's been happening with me is the move away from music being my dominant interest, back to anime and manga. I say 'back', because before I was obsessed with jrock and visual kei, I was already obsessed with anime and manga. So this is all nothing new to me. It's hard to explain really, but basically I have a very one-track mind, and I can't really be obsessed with more than one thing at a time. You know. Like, I'll still love my other interests, but I can only handle one dominant interest at a time. I know, it's kind of pathetic huh... But it's just the way my mind works, I can't help it. Because when I'm interested in something, I throw my whole being into liking it. It's hard to keep up with myself sometimes. In a way though, I've realized, that's why I've stopped being so interested in music. Well, that's not right. I still love music, and I still listen to music all the time. I guess I should be more specific, and say that's why I've stopped being so interested in visual kei. Why I've stopped trying to immerse myself in it. It's too hard to keep up with the whole scene, sometimes. There's always something being released, from countless artists, be it a single, and album, a DVD, magazines. Bands are breaking up and forming left right and center. It's actually exhausting trying to keep up with it all, and there came a point for me where it was no longer fun to try. It wasn't something I enjoyed doing. Trying to be up to date on all the artists I listen to, trying to hunt down entire discographies before I felt I had the right to call myself a fan, knowing who is releasing what and when, and deciding which releases I would be able to buy. I found myself no longer being able to justify spending $35 on a single, or $50 on a mini album. Keeping up with interviews and live streams and blogs and twitters... honestly, it just became too much. I feel like there's so much pressure, if you're a fan of visual kei, for you to be and act a certain way. I don't really feel like getting into all that right now though, so I'll just leave it at that. And actually, I feel happier now because of this. I just listen to whatever I feel like, whatever makes me happy. I do still listen to the visual artists that I like, of course, my favourite bands are visual. But I've stopped forcing myself to try to keep up, and I'm branching out my musical tastes a bit. It's refreshing, you know.

Anywaaaay. Speaking of anime (we weren't really speaking about it but humor me ok), instead of spending all my earnings on CDs and the like, I've been buying more anime and manga related goods. I regret nothing.

Two issues of Pash! magazine (June issue with Karneval on the cover, and August issue with SNK on the cover yehyeh). The Karneval Illustration Book, which is really beautiful by the way. If you're a fan of the series this book is a must. Volumes 10+11 of the Karneval manga, a another Karneval book. I'm not sure what it is exactly, it's more manga and I guess stories that aren't related to the main storyline? Idk, but it was super cheap, so I got it. Nice order, huh. It cost me an arm and a leg in shipping, but it was so worth it.

Then I received this order just yesterday. Pash! September issue with Free! on the cover (hnnn babies), Karneval Animation Guide, and Karneval volume 1 on Blu-ray. While the Blu-rays are substantially more expensive than the DVDs, they do have English subtitles and are compatible with my PS3, so I didn't really have choice. It's very pretty though huhuhu. I've also ordered some SNK phone straps, some useless Karneval merch, the first SNK Illustration book and the second Karneval Blu-ray. I'm also waiting until it's a little closer to the release date to order the Free! animation guide book. I'm pumped, yo.

Also, I'm not sure if you've noticed the difference in the quality of my photos between the last one and all the rest. It's because the last photo was taken on my new iPhone 5 whaaaaat uuuuuup~ I'm sorry, I'm just really stoked to have it. I've already had it a week but I'm still buzzing over it. Ah, I can feel my Apple snob status has been elevated 50%.

And that's all I've got this time, really. This post was super all over the place, so I'm sorry about that. How do blog. Idk. Haven't figured it out yet sorrrrrrry.

I'm planning on making my next post another anime post, but this time mostly centered around the on-going series that I'm watching right now (with the exception of SNK cause I've already written about it). I'm actually really excited to write it and I'll probably get started on it within the next few days, so please look forward to it! It'll probably be 100% more interesting than this lame post (and all my other lame posts about my life for that matter).

No now playing today because I'm not listening to anything. I'm blogging and watching Must Love Cats at the same time.

The Romance Is Dead~

Hey whaddup~
So this post is a little overdue. By what, like a month? Sorry about that, but then again it shouldn't come as a surprise. We all know how horrible I am at this blogging thing. Anyway I think this post is going to be a little random. I don't want it to end up too long, but then I'm awful at being brief so it'll probably end up as one big ramble.

Actually, this first thing I want to talk about I do want to keep brief. Because I don't really know how to explain it, even to myself. As you may have guessed from the title, I just want to mention the breakup of one of the most influential bands in my life - My Chemical Romance. Wow, was that announcement sudden or what? Well, that's what I'd like to think. But when I really think about it, I feel like I kind of saw it coming a little while ago. It sounds like they did too. But they pushed on for the sake of the fans. Which is both admirable and annoying. Basically, I first heard MCR nine years ago, and I loved them instantly. They were my favourite band for a long time, and even when I was trying out new things and trying to find out who I was, they were always there, even if it was just in the background. Admittedly, I haven't really been keeping up with them as much in the last couple of years (i.e. the years that I've been into visual kei), but that doesn't mean I loved them any less. They have been there for me through countless occasions, and I'll always be grateful to them for that. I honestly think that without them I wouldn't be the me I am right now. I probably wouldn't have found visual kei. I know that the two aren't really linked, but just trust me on that one. So naturally when I saw the news pop up on Twitter late Saturday night, I was stunned. Shocked. I sort of just sat there for a couple of minutes with my mouth wide open. I felt sadness, yes. But strangely, I was able to accept it. In my heart and my head, I was okay with it. At first I didn't know why. I always thought I would be distraught by this kind of announcement, but I was okay. Well, regardless of how I felt and feel about it, they produced some really, really amazing music in their twelve years together. Those twelve years must have gone by so quickly. It was an abrupt ending that must have left so many fans feeling hurt and betrayed. But I think we, as the fans, have to understand their position in all this. I think reading Gerard's post on Twitter is a good start to achieving that understanding. I was speechless when I read it. It's not only a bloody brilliant piece of writing, it provides this amazingly comforting form of closure on the whole matter. I think rather than trying to explain it myself, and not do it any justice, it would be better if you read it for yourself. All I knew was that I agreed with him completely. And honestly, now is probably a good time for this to happen. Twelve years and four albums is a lot. It was a good, no, an AMAZING run for them, but nothing lasts forever. If they had kept going, there's a chance that they would lose their heart for it all, lose their soul. The music may have ended up being all the same. The band and the fans would get tired of it. It's better to go out with a bang on a positive note, don't you think? Well, this is just my feeling. And I really don't know what else to say about it. I could probably go on forever, but I don't want to. All that's really left to say is thank you. Thank you to My Chemical Romance and everyone who was ever a part of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me and countless others. This may be the end, but it's not goodbye.

It actually took me a little while to understand why exactly I was so okay with all of this. I was sitting in bed, still sort of shocked by the news. I looked around my room, at the posters on my wall and the CDs on my shelves. I looked at my laptop screen, which was paused on the Kiseki no Tsubasa PV off-shot DVD that came with FEST VAINQUEUR's GENERATION. And it hit me. I was okay, because of visual kei. No rhyme intended. I know that sounds cheesy as hell, but it's just how it is. Visual kei is my security, my safety blanket. Rather than just cushioning the blow, it lifted me completely. Of course, that's not to say that MCR can be so easily replaced, because they can't. But for the past two years, visual kei has held it's own, stood next to MCR. And now in my heart it's shining brighter than before.

Okay okay, sorry about all that. I just really needed to get that off my chest. I feel good now. Actually, I feel really good, because I just got an email from CDJapan telling me that my copy of ACE's Shiroi Akuma has been shipped! Oh, that reminds me! I was gonna post about some music in my next blog! Well, technically this has been a music post but ok.

BURU2 (finally!) and Called≠Plan L and R! I got the singles a week or so after their release. I didn't care though, all I knew was that I had to get my hands on them. They'd been building up to these for a while, so I knew they would be something special. And they are. Also, I was really hoping that I would get one Yuuto card and one Minoru card. And guess what. That's exactly what I got! I actually flipped my shit. And maybe cried a little. Shhh~

Kameleo's Sandwich LOVE and Royz's Tears! I love Kameleo so much, they're such a great bunch of guys. Royz too, they've really come a long way huh! I got Takeshi for the Kameleo artist photo (HELL YES~) and Tomoya and Kazuki trading cards with Tears! So I was pretty stoked with that. Oh, also, how good is the Koi Hanabi remake?! I was so worried that they would totally butcher one of my favorite songs of theirs, but it's so damn awesome I shouldn't have worried! Sometimes bands can totally kill their good songs by remaking them -cough-SuG's Vi-Vi-Vi remake-cough-

And these are my most recent additions to the family. GOTCHAROCKA's Poisonous berry and SuG Best 2010~2012. Damn... GR are so amazing. They never, ever disappoint  Poisonous berry is just... ugh fantastic. And the PV is nothing to complain about either ;D As for SuG's best, well... I just felt like I had to have it. For sentimental reasons, you know? With the hiatus and all.

As I said, I'm getting ACE's new single soon, hopefully within the next week. I really can't wait, it sounds like such a beautiful song. As all their songs are~

Ah, what else... I haven't really been out much lately. So just have some random pictures.

Idk. This outfit was kind of weird. But I liked it. So whatever.

I don't remember what we did this day. Derpderp.

This outfit was kind of boring, but it was waaaay too hot to bother with anything else.

And that's all. Sorry this post is so fucking random and long. Maybe next time I'll have more structure LOL WHAT NO WAY. Oh, actually, I ordered a wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs, so I guess I'll post about that once it gets here! I'm so excited omfg. Ok. I'm really done now. See ya~

(I've never been good at selfies ok shut up)

Dream Breaker~

Uh, last minute title is last minute. I hate having to put titles, but I hate not having one. Sigh. I've been listening to GOTCHAROCKA a lot lately. They're just so good buhuhu~

Anyway, it's been a while! A lot has happened since I posted last! Sort of... In comparison to what usually goes on in my life, it feels like a lot has happened. But then it probably isn't all that much. It certainly won't be very exciting. Sorry. I never got round to posting photos of stuff that happened last year, and now I can't really remember anything about it anyway. So I'll try and incorporate some photos into this post, because I take photos of pretty much anything and everything that happens to me. So yeah. I feel like this is gonna be a long post lol sorry not sorry.

Actually, it's not even January anymore. I've forgotten what happened in January too... Useless! The only thing I can remember, and the only thing with any importance, is that I FINALLY got a job. It's only one day a week at the moment but they said that they will be offering me more hours in the near future. So yeah, I'm super stoked about it! It's kinda freaky, cause it's my first job and it's in customer service, but I'm getting there! I'm trying really hard, because I want to keep this job. I like it, and I like the people. Please don't fire me~ I know I'm super awkward and a bit slow right now but I'll keep trying!

Ahh, so other than that all that happened in January was pretty much just getting new clothes and going out places and eating good food. I haven't had any new music this year, but I ordered some from CDJapan yesterday, so looking forward to that. I guess I'll just fill the rest of this post with photos of random junk yeah? Ah, just so you know, there are gonna be some crappily edited photos of people here, because I don't want to show their faces without their permission. Sorry not sorry. Stop saying that.

This actually happened in December. We went to the zoo. 'We' was actually a lot of people, too many people for me to be bothered explaining. But there's me looking mega-derp.

This also happened in December. Idk what we did that day. But have a photo of it anyway. Wahh I miss her~ ; 3 ;

I made my second order from Rakuten in early January. The seller shipped internationally, so I didn't need a shopping service. I love World Wide Love, but to buy new is so expensive These were both second hand, and the prices were really good. About $30 NZD each. Plus they're in great condition! I love them~

This was also early January I think... I was feeling super tired and lazy one day, so I went out without wearing my wig or any makeup. I was just going out to lunch with my mum, but I felt so weird... I like this outfit though. I gotta wear it again, but with the rest.

We went to the city. I finally wore my WWL top, and it was awesome. It's so oversized I love it.
Actually, that was the day that I found a legit Candy Stripper shirt in this random Asian clothes store~ Of course, I bought it.

Then I got my new babies. Unfortunately, I only got to wear them for one day, and had to send them back, because they were already falling apart after a few hours of wear! CDJapan was super cool about it though, and my replacement pair will be shipped to me soon. Love CDJapan <3 p="">

Went to the city again (I did that a lot last month)
Yes, we always take photos in bathroom mirrors.

Have a derp face. You love it.

This is the Candy Stripper shirt that I found! It has a cat on it mudafuckas. It's the best shirt ever and it's mine sorry not sorry. And my shoes. I want my new ones to get here soon because they are so beautiful crycry.

Got new Listen Flavor stuff too, cause it was on sale lol forever cheap. I haven't had the chance to wear the purple one yet because it's been soooo hot here, but I forced myself to wear the other one the day I got it.

City. Again. I wore my newish Yaponskii skirt! The picture is crap so you can't see it in all it's awesome. I also got this skirt second hand, from Closet Child. It was also only about $30 NZD. At that price, I HAD to buy it. Considering I wanted it when it was newly released but it was like 10,000+ yen omfg.
And yeah, that's the same mirror. We always go here ok. It's cool. It's like a mall, but not many people know about it, and it's just full of Chinese/Korean/Japanese clothes/shoes/makeup/random stores. There's this really amazing Japanese makeup shop there that have an amazing wall of fake eyelashes and I die every time I go in there.
Oh! This was also the day that we went to this thing about Japanese characters that was organized by the university or something. I wasn't expecting much though, and I was right. It was pretty much just a bunch of Hello Kitty. There were some pretty interesting characters too, but overall it was pretty limited. They had some anime characters and figures and stuff, but again it wasn't anything special. They tried!

This guy was cool though. I admit I had never seen/heard of him before. I can't actually remember what he is either my bad.

Idk why these guys were on the wall, but I'm not complaining. School guys so coooool~

This dude was creepy as shit though.

Sort of big Gundam. Or something. Idk I don't watch mecha anime ok.

They broke the exhibit down into decades. It started at 1950's or 60's I think.

Dis old guy so cute with his chara mug~

And then a couple of days ago I went out with a different (lol my only other) friend, and we actually went somewhere other than the city. She's so pretty and cute and stuff and she makes me feel like a giant tard. But I lover her anyway.

Wow sorry that was a lot. Actually, I have a lot more photos, but I'm so lazyyyyy. Plus I think there's already too many... Other than this, I've just been watching a lot of Adventure Time and Regular Show. I'm 100% up to date with them, too. Achievement unlocked! Also played lot's of Sims 3, because I finally got some more expansions. Supernatural, Generations and Showtime. I still need Seasons though. I'm not really fussed about the Stuff ones... Can't wait for University though! Gonna be great. I requested a tonne of manga from the library, so once they all get here I'm gonna go turbo-nerd. Yeah, I got some yaoi too hohoho don't judge me. Oh yeah, and I've been working. That's pretty much it.

Right now, I'm trying to decide if I should spend almost $100 on a wig. And honestly, I'm leaning towards HELL YES. It's beautiful. My white one is really crappy, so it's starting to fall apart.
Oh, and I said, I ordered some music and stuff yesterday! Buuuut I'll talk about that next time. Actually, maybe I'll make my next post entirely about music, old and new. Yay!

Ehhh it looks like another badly written post. I guess I'll never get better. Whatever.

G.O.T.C.H.A.6.K.A~!

For a while now I've been thinking that I should update my blog. You know, change the layout and format and all that. And I really would like to, because honestly, this one that I have now I super fucking boring. It's been the same since I first started this blog just over three years ago. The thing is, I just really don't like any of the other pre-set layouts provided by Blogger, and I'm waaay to technologically impaired to make my own. Seriously, I am clueless when it comes to HTML and coding... Which is actually quite funny, considering that I've been taking Web Design as a subject for the past two years. I don't actually do any work in that class, though. It's like my second free subject. When we have work to do, I just ask my teacher and he basically tells me exactly what to do. Um, tangent, ok... Anyway, I'm going to take another look at the pre-set templates and see if I can find something a little more exciting. I guess I'll just have to play around with it a little and see what I can work out, and what I come up with. I might need to wait a bit though, until I have enough time to really get stuck in and focus on it. I have mid-term exams coming up in two weeks, so from now on I'll be super busy and nerdy with studying... Or at least, I'll pretend that's what I'm doing. I've never really been that good at studying, but I surprisingly manage to get by with pretty good grades. Maybe just for now I'll try to find a pre-set template that's a little more interesting than this, that I'll use temporarily.
Also, one of these days I'll figure out how add photos to these posts... I bet it's probably not even that difficult, I'm just an idiot. I guess I'll do that at the same time as the layout shizz. At least this way, it gives me enough time to figure out what to post photos of. I'm not really very confident with myself at all, so I wouldn't really want to post photos of my face... And my clothes aren't really cool enough to do outfit posts. I'm just generally quite plain and average. Ahh, well. I'll figure it out. I just feel like having photos will make my blog at least a little more interesting. And I need all the interesting I can get. ><;;

Writing this post is making me feel really dizzy. I haven't been feeling so good for the last two days, and I'm off school today. I probably shouldn't be using my computer at all, I knoooow. But I'm so bored~ There isn't even any entertaining trash on E! channel. Just E! News and boring THS junk.

Oh, I ordered more things on Sunday! Well, this time it was just one thing. I ordered it from Rakuten again, this time from a seller/store called Mansaiya. Whenever I search for things on Rakuten, this seller always comes up. I guess that's because I mostly search for clothes like SUPER LOVERS. And, they ship to my country, so I don't have to go through a shopping service. Again, I ordered from here because it worked out to be much cheaper than CDJapan.
BUT, I'm not going to lie, I'm getting a little worried about both of my recent orders. I ordered from the SUPER LOVERS online/Rakuten shop on Thursday last week. I did get the automatic confirmation email and everything, but it's now Tuesday afternoon and I haven't heard anything more from them. They haven't emailed me saying that it's been posted to my Tenso address, and Tenso certainly haven't received it yet. I'm hoping that it's something to do with the fact that I payed by credit card, and that it will take a while for the payment to go through. Then once they get my payment, they'll post my order.
I have similar concerns for my Mansaiya order, although I did only order on Sunday, so I'm not as concerned. But still, I haven't heard anything from this store either... I'm not sure what to do. How long should I wait until I email the sellers? I dunno maaaaan. I guess I'm just over-thinking and such because I've never ordered from here before. It'll be fine. I'm sure it will be fine. Whoo~

In other *fangirl* news, FUCKING YES GOTCHAROCKA NICONICO. When I saw the announcement   that they were going to be on a live stream, I so nearly cried. I'm so happy, I don't even care that it's way late here and I'm sick as fuck. After missing their last one, because I'm the biggest retard ever and got the timing/dates all wrong, I was so heart shattered, and I was beginning to think that I missed the only chance.
I actually started this before the broadcast was on... it was done with purpose, though, because I wanted to be able to fangirl after watching it. So, here goes...
OMFGSAFSDGDFG. THEY'RE SO PERFECT. I really, really loved watching them. It doesn't matter in the slightest that I couldn't understand a word. Just seeing them all laugh and smile made me so, so happy. They're a really great bunch of guys. You know how I like to ramble on about bands, and their band dynamic? Well, GOTCHAROCKA's band dynamic is so out of this world. They are perfect together as a band. I have no worries about them at all, I feel that they're going to be together for a long time. Ahhh I'm still buzzing about seeing them. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This morning I was listening to them, and going through Toya's blog images, and I actually felt like I was going to cry. Happy tears, not sad tears! I was just like... I love these guys so fucking much. I am so thankful to Jun for bringing me to GOTCHAROCKA. It was also really great being able to chat with the WARPS/ROCKAS again... although, it wasn't quite the same as Jun's old Niconicos... oh well, it was something. And for that I'm extremely grateful~!
Also, I realised how much I love and adore Toya! I mean, I already new I loved him, but wow... He's so gorgeous and precious and perfect! He's way up there man, but of course, Jun is always number one in my heart~ Alright, fangirl spazz end.

Alright, now I really feel like junk. Time for a cup of tea then a nap~

Tonight Tonight

Listening to Golden Bomber always puts me in a good mood. So does watching videos of them on YouTube. They're all so fucking weird. Of course, Kenji is probably the weirdest, followed closely by Kirisho. Man, they're a great bunch. <3

I really, really hate not having a job. Or I just hate not having money. It seems like lately it's been release after new release, for so many bands that I love. New albums from Piko, Zuck, ACE, PIECE, Paradeis, BugLug. Singles from GALEYD, GOTCHAROCKA, Vistlip, SID, Mix Speaker's,Inc., and again BugLug. Live DVDs from SuG and LM.C, plus CDJapan has more of Golden Bombers Golden Best Type B, which I really wanted. I'm so upset, because I know that there is no way I'm going to be able to buy all of them. I'm only going to be able to get like, two or three, so I have to choose. I don't wanna chooooose! I can't do eeeht. Also, I don't just want music. I'm desperately in need of a wardrobe update. And I have a stunning lack of accessories and shit. Some of the stores that I want this stuff from don't ship internationally, so I'd have to pay the special request fee on CDJapan. On top of all that, whatever I buy, there is going to be a shipping charge, which is always expensive. Holy shit. Excuse me while I go drown my sorrows in ice cream.

I really love pineapple. But only in a can. Is that weird? I guess so.

It's getting really cold where I live, because it's almost winter. June-August are the wintery months here, and I'm really looking forward to it. I hate summer, I hate the sun. I don't have any summer style clothes either, all my stuff is more suited to winter weather. WHOA, step back! Did you see that alliteration? Completely unintentional, I swear. Anyway, winter. I'm excited. Bring on the rain.

Lalala, sorry. This was a boring one. I just felt like having a vent/cry about how I want to buy all the things but at the moments I can't buy any of the things. Mla. ;___;
