Stop the time~

What's uuuup~
This post is going to be back to my usual. Whether or not that's a good thing, I'm not entirely sure. My past three posts have been better received than any of my others (ie my anime and PIECE post). So, it would seem that my 'usual' isn't the best way to go. Honestly, I wouldn't mind just continuing to write about anime and such, as I actually really enjoyed it. But at the same time, there's a little more to my life than just anime, and while it isn't ever all that exciting, it's still my life, you know? And I want to write about those things too. After all, this is my personal blog. I've always believed it to be a place where I can word vomit and rant and just get anything and everything off of my chest. That being said, I will definitely be doing more anime posts in the near future.

Oh yeah! I want to talk about this before I forget. About two months ago, I finally caved and, wait for it... made a Tumblr. I KNOW I'M REALLY FUCKING LATE OK BUT FOR SO LONG I WAS JUST LIKE NO LEAVE ME ALONE. But I pretty much lurked in the background without actually having a Tumblr for like, over a year, so I figured I should just get over it and sign up. And I regret nothing. Absolutely nothing. So if you're interested, my Tumblr Stop the time. It's multi-fandom, and I do reblog BL/yaoi/NSFW. Fair warning. I pretty much just reblog a shit tonne of Shingeki no Kyojin (mostly Ereri/Riren), Karneval, and a bit of Free! and Adventure Time stuff. I know it's really plain, but I don't really care too much about the layout of the actual blog. The dashboard is where it all happens, anyway. I just prefer simple things when it comes to layouts and stuff. That should be apparent from the layout of this blog, and my Twitter. Anyway! Follow me if you would like, I'll follow back! Probably... so long as we have some things in common.

Anyway I've realized that I really don't have anything interesting to post about. Ehhh sorry about that! I guess I'll just do a really small pic spam with some things that I've been doing recently. It's small because I haven't actually been taking that many photos lately. Also, there aren't really any outfit photos as I've been lacking inspiration lately and haven't been as bothered with my outfits.

I went and got my nails done, again by Satomi at S's Nail. This is one of my absolute favourite nail designs. I will definitely be getting it again one day, maybe in the reverse. Ah, but my nails were longer this time so they grew out reeeally quickly and got kind of annoying.

Idk. I found this picture in one of the magazines at my nail place (it's also a hair salon) and I just found it really funny. It was a Japanese guys hair style magazine, but I think this was a section on eyebrow styling or something. Honestly, I was just looking through it to scope the hot Japanese guys while waiting for my appointment.

This seems to be the only outfit photo I've taken lately... OTL
Well, I did really like this outfit, so I guess it's ok.

I also really liked how my makeup turned out that day. Not that you can actually see it. I'm sorry, iPod cameras are crap quality.

Went out for dinner to a little local Japanese restaurant. I love it there, the food is cheap and so good. Their green tea ice cream is the best~

Then the other day I went and had my nails done again. It was about a month after my last time. I went for a much more simple design this time, mostly because it was much cheaper, but also because with the base gel being clear, it won't be noticeable when they grow out. I actually really love them, they're so pretty.

Other than a few other small outings here and there, and going to work, I haven't done all that much. I'm still pretty much just watching anime all of the time. I also bought the Sims 3 University recently, so that's taking up lots of my time too. Oh, I have had lots of new music though!

Grimoire, album from Nocturnal Bloodlust. Before even getting to the music, I just want to say that this album is one of the most beautifully designed albums I've ever had the pleasure of owning. It's so stunning. That photo does it absolutely no justice. As for the music, well. It's Nokubara. These guys are so amazingly talented and so fucking kick ass. I can't even make the words to describe how GOOD this album is. It's just... ugh perfect from beginning to end.

Satellite Cube, mini album from PIECE. This is it! We waited a year for this. And they did not disappoint. I'm going to be honest, when I heard about all the changes that were happening with PIECE, I was a little worried. I was worried that they wouldn't be PIECE anymore, that they'd lose that special something (whatever it is, I'm not sure) about them that made me fall in love with them. This mini though... it's easily one of my favourite releases of the year. It's absolutely perfect. They pull of the whole, space android thing so, so well. It actually suits them much more than their previous style. That being said, when I listened to this for the first time, I felt this rush of relief. Because, despite how much they'd changed, in every song, I could still hear 'PIECE'. I love every song on this mini. They have all improved so much, they've come so far. I feel like finally, their talent is shining. And I couldn't be happier, I couldn't be more proud.

GIGA, album from Jackman. About this one, actually... I haven't listened to it all that much yet. I'M SORRY. I got this album around the time that I started watching anime again, and in all honestly I haven't been listening to much music since then. Anime is pretty much taking up all my time and head space... But I will sit down and listen to it properly very soon! It's Jackman, so I already know it's going to be fantastic.

Nanda Collection, album from Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. I missed out on Pamyu Pamyu Revolution, so there was no way I was going to miss out on this one. I don't really know what to say about this one. She's just so brilliant. This album is so much fun. It's just great, ok, she's great and asdfghjkl;

So yeah, that's pretty much all that's been going on with me. I'm sorry, this post was really fucking boring. I guess I really should just stick to passionately ranting about anime.

Armageddon Expo~!

Ahhh, damn. It's been a while since I blogged. I don't even have a decent excuse this time. In short, the reason is laziness. I'm not sure why, but recently I've been feeling extremely lethargic, even more so than usual. Everything just takes so much effort, it's so tiring. I come home from school completely exhausted every day. I wake up in the morning not feeling any better. I guess it's because it's almost the end of an extremely busy year, and my final exams are coming up, and it all seems a bit much at the moment. Not that I'm actually stressing about anything, weirdly, I'm the complete opposite. I feel so chill. I think that comes with the laziness, haha. I should actually be stressing right now, though, because my first exam is in just under three weeks, and I've done minimal, if not zero, study. At least if I were stressed, I'd be putting more pressure on myself to study. Then I'd do it. Right now though, I'm just like whatever maaaan. Ehehe... Alright, alright, I'll get serious about studying... in the weekend.

So a lot has happened since my last post. Well, as much that could happen to a social recluse/vegetable like myself. It's mostly all stuff that is personal to me, though, that didn't require the need to leave the comfort of my home. Oh well! I guess the biggest thing that happened was Armageddon Expo 2012, so I'm dedicating  the rest of this post to it.

It was fantastic! Armageddon, like I've said, is about the closest my country gets to a convention. It's got gaming, comics, anime and pretty much everything geek. So I feel right at home there. It's on for three days, and usually I just go for one, but this year I decided to go for two. I think next year I'm gonna get the full three day pass, it's that wonderful. I got to wear my Gachapin kigurumi!

(Please ignore my derp XD)

My friend wore her Totoro kigurumi! (Again, ignore the derp)

It was really fun to wear, and I got asked for lots of pictures with people! At first I was a little shocked, cause I've never had someone ask me for a photo before. That's probably because I've only ever been in my normal clothes. So that was a really interesting experience! I also asked  people for photos, cause while there weren't many, there were some really cool cosplays there! My favourite person who I got a photo with was this Japanese guy. I'm not sure how old he was or what he was cosplaying, but he was so sweet and adorable I just had to have a photo with him!

Isn't he sweet? (Yet again, I am incapable of taking photos without looking horrendously derp)

This was my other favourite. ISN'T. SHE. PRECIOUS? She was the cutest cosplayer/girl I've ever seen! She was really shy, so she didn't want to look at me when I took the photo. XD

This is my friend (the Totoro girl) on the second day, with the Ice King! It was a pretty good cosplay! There were heeeeaps of Finn + Fionas, but there was also a really good Flame Princess which unfortunately I didn't get a photo of. ><

There were two giant Rilakkumas!(?)

We got photos with them later, they were dancing to Gangnam Style when we found them XD

I spent lots of money in those two days... I bought 12 volumes of manga, and three anime DVDs. But it was so worth it! I also ate too much McDonalds... it was only a 15minute walk from the venue, and all the food at the venue was way overpriced! I did do lots of walking though, so that makes up for it right? Both days were early starts, and we spent the entire day there (we were there both days until 5pm!) I had such a great time though, so I don't even care about that. There were so many people, it was so packed and noisy and crazy. Usually I'd hate that kind of thing, but I really loved it. I love being there. I feel like it's the one place where I actually belong, where I fit in. It's a place where it's okay to be myself.

So of course, now I'm left with that depressed feeling, and the thought that it's going to be a whole year until I can go again. I'm already thinking of what I want to go as next year. At first I was thinking I would just wear my kigu again, with a different coloured wig, but then I started thinking... I really want to do a Kyary Pamyu Pamyu cosplay for Fashion Monster. I probably won't be able to manage it in the end, and there's no way I could really pull it off, I mean, apart from Kyary herself, who could? I would probably look silly... but it's just a thought! Who knows, it could turn out okay, right?

And that brings me to the end of my Armageddon blog post. It was fun! Next time I'll talk about the other things that have happened in the past two weeks, but really, they all just pale in comparison to the wonder that was Armageddon.

ERMAHGERD~

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, VISUAL KEI WORLD.
What a shitty way to start the day. I wake up to the news that LILT will be disbanding. Fuck. I love LILT. Seriously, the amount of visual kei disbandments this years is getting waaaaaay insane. I want to support the newer bands and stuff, but they keep dropping like flies. So now I'm left thinking, what's the fucking point? And I don't want to overly throw myself into supporting older bands either, because let's be honest, nothing lasts forever. I just don't know how to deal with this. Now I'm just sitting here thinking about any other bands that could disband soon... I'm particularly worried about PIECE. I haven't heard anything from them recently. In fact, I hardly hear anything from them at all. I really don't know where they stand in terms of popularity, but I don't think they're all that popular. If they disband... tables will be flipped and coffee mugs will fly. Along with rage tears and then curling up in a corner to ugly sob forever.
ALTHOUGH. In all honesty, I knew something was up with LILT. Somehow. A week or so ago I was thinking about how I hadn't heard anything from them since their last release. I dunno, I just had a bit of a bad feeling. And now this. MAYBE I CURSED IT. NOOO, M'SRRY~! ;____; I really hope to see the LILT members in other projects though. Particularly Tsukasa. I'm not sure why, but he's my LILT bias. Also Rubia, he's fucking adorable and talented. You know, all the members of LILT are extremely talented. I know Rei will be fine. He has mad skill.

I bought a galaxy cat shirt of eBay yesterday! After a while of staring at it wistfully I finally decided to go ahead and buy it~ I'm very excited, I haven't really gotten new clothes in a while, and I love getting packages in the mail! It's so exciting!

Speaking of clothes, CDJapan recently started stocking some Broken Doll things. I really want to buy something or theirs, it's such a fun, creative and unique brand. And everything is handmade! So next time I order from CDJapan I'm going to buy an accessory of Broken Doll. I want to start some kind of collection of odds and ends from Broken Doll, but I'm afraid I probably won't be able to afford it... aha... I would also like to buy their music CDs too, but I really can't afford that right now, so I'll just keep watching their YouTube videos. The Broken Doll band is just as fun as the brand, so check them out!

Hmm, wearing fake eyelashes is going to be an expensive hobby, isn't it. I started wearing them a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love them. I never planned to wear them to school everyday, but it turned out that I ended up hating my face without them. But I go to school five days a week, and I usually go out for at least one day in the weekend. I really don't think I can afford to wear them every day, unfortunately. So I'll wear them once or twice during the week, and then whenever I go out during the weekend. The kind that I have are Eyemazing x Kyary Pamyu Pamyu ones - I forgot what their name/number is, but the ones that come in the blue packaging. They are AMAZING, seriously highly recommended.

And again, I'm watching Regular Show as I write this. So I think I'll finish up here. It's too distracting. Byebye~

New Nickname~

A couple of weeks ago, my Japanese student and her sister were thinking of a Japanese name for me and my friend. I think mine ended up as Misa. Being a Death Note fan, I was more than happy with this, haha. And plus, it sort of sounds like the nickname for my real name anyway; Melissa = Missy = Misa. It works, right? I'm just wondering if I should start calling myself that. Obviously not in real life, but on here, in this world they call Le Internet. I think I will, it's much cuter than my actual name...
Oh, and I don't remember what my friend got. I don't think they have though of one fore her yet. xD

DAMMIT, CDJAPAN, TAKE ALL MY LIMBS. I JUST NEED THE MUSIC.

Sorry for that outburst. That's pretty much been my entire thought process for the past week. Sigh. Seriously though, I really am considering buying Piko's new album and ACE's new album. If I buy them soon, I can get a poster with each. But, the catch. Including shipping (the cheapest kind), it would cost me NZ$120. That's almost all of the money I have saved right now. Gone, on just two CDs. Is it worth it? I'm going back and fourth, like, one minute I'll be thinking it's totally worth it, then the next minute I'm like, GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF YOU CAN'T SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY ON TWO ALBUMS. I'm so fucking conflicted. Someone help me, I need some kind of divine inspiration~

Recently, I've decided that I want to get a Totoro tattoo. I know, I know. "That's not very original" herpderp, newsflash, neither are flowers or feathers or stars or birds or meaningful quotes about hope or whatever else people get as tattoos. Idgaf what I'm told, I adore Totoro, I adore Miyazki-san and I adore Studio Ghibli, so I'm going to do it. I think it will make a cute first tattoo. And It's only going to be small, so no big deal.

Also on the note of deciding things I that I want to get in the hopes of making my lame, derpy, totally un-cute self at least a little bit cuter. I really want Japanese fake nails. You know, the kind that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has! They're so adorable. I'm going to go to the city this weekend and see if there's any places that would sell/do them here. Otherwise I'll have to find them online or something. Fooh~

That's all. I actually had a little more to write than I though. Meh. ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ
